Dear friends of ProPortion,
The ProPortion Foundation had her first birthday party! It has been just over a year now that we successfully launched the foundation on July 2nd 2009. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my team members, Lieke and Thalita for their hard work and never ending enthusiasm (you are true Professional Passionates!), our board members Theo Spierings, Manon Schuurmans, Harry Barkema, Sjef IJzermans, Cosmas Blaauw, Taco Hendriksz and Joost Jaeger for their advice, challenging questions and pro-active support in introducing us to interesting people in the field of BoP. Last, but not least, I would like to thank our partners in realising social business, at the Base-of-Pyramid, together: Liesbeth Pruijs from Plan Nederland, Harry Verhaar and Corinne Jeanmaire from Philips for their believe and commitment to ProPortion.
For the coming year there are some exciting projects coming up. One of them is the India Co-creation Program, where multinationals, SME’s and NGOs will combine their forces in improving women’s lives in rural India.
