The SuJol project is really kicking off! Hereby a short update!
- Project goal: provide 30.000 villages in Bangladesh with clean arsenic-free water, through the means of a social business.
- Role of ProPortion: responsible for the social business model development. We are currently in phase 2 and 3 of the ProPortion process: deepunderstanding of community + stakeholder involvement workshops
DAM, the local consortium partner in Bangladesh, has nearly finished the baseline study: a survey among all households (N=250) in the community where we run the pilot. The survey consists of questioning all households on the 10 themes from the ProPortion model.

Based on the results, ProPortion will prepare a community field immersion where we will organise co-creation workshops with consumers, local entrepreneurs and other stakeholders. This will lead to several concepts for desired value propositions on the one hand, and insights on what people are able to pay for clean water and how we could distribute the water.
ProPortion thanks Reggs for their nice design of the logo for SuJoL:
